It’s never going to be perfect, so keep your sense of humor.

It’s never going to be exactly how you pictured it.

For all intensive purposes, this is a new body. It’s not going to look like it used to look when you were in high school, when you last weighed what you weigh now. It’s a different body. This body has made babies. This body has scars. This body has a birthday suit that doesn’t quite fit anymore, because you stretched it out, and it’s still a little bit too big for the smaller person underneath. It’s wrinkly, and its worn, and has that “lived in look”…… and you should appreciate it-

Because now it will get you to where you need to go.

This body did not come with an instruction manual, and there’s going to be a lot of things it can do that you have yet to discover. Be excited to discover them.

Maintain it well, because it’s the only one you will get.

Remember, it needs different fuel for cleaner burning, but don’t feed it too much fiber, because then it will have higher emissions, and nobody wants that, LOL!

And on a different subject-

If you should you ever again feel the need to change the language on your phone to Icelandic (just to see what it would be like if you spoke that language)……….don’t.  Because you do not speak Icelandic, and you will never be able to figure out how to change it back (and now sadly, the only Icelandic word you know is a curse word).

And, oh yeah……also-

Don’t forget that Shop Vac bags are HIGHLY flammable, and if you vacuum out the ashes from inside of the wood stove before they are cool, you WILL need to know where the fire extinguisher is.
